It started with a picture...

When I took this picture back in 2006, I was instantly inspired.  Without saying a word on the rainy drive home, I thought that someday, Rearview Photography would be a great name for my photography.  After all, photographs are the best rearview mirror... capturing life's moments so that you can always see what is behind you - where you have come from, how your life has grown and changed, for better or worse.

For so long, Rearview Photography lingered in my mind as I continued to take pictures of inanimate objects... until one day my friend told me that I was taking her family pictures.  And I haven't stopped since!

A little about me:  I am a Spartan and bleed green, and am so excited to be back in Michigan after 7 years out of state.  I love cheese and Moscato.  I am a recovering first grade teacher, just recently leaving behind that career to be a stay at home mom.  I'm writing a screen play in my head of all the random things that happen to my friends and I.  I love reading about Amelia Earhart.  I am a terrible blogger.  I shoot Nikon.  I get sucked in to reality television.  And I love capturing the lives of others through my lens.   

So there you have it.  The Rearview History.
